Negli anni '40, molti ricercatori e scienziati giunsero alla scoperta della energia della vita. Il matematico Luigi Fantappiè coniò il termine Sintropia, lo psichiatra Wilhelm Reich la chiamò Orgone, il paleontologo evoluzionista Teilhard de Chardin il Punto Omega. Wilhelm Reich venne arrestato e morì in carcere per attacco cardiaco pochi giorni prima di essere rilasciato. I suoi laboratori furono distrutti e tutti i suoi libri bruciati, probabilmente il peggior caso di censura nella storia degli Stati Uniti. Teilhard de Chardin fu esiliato in Cina, morì anche lui per un attacco di cuore. In the 1940s, many researchers and scientists came to the discovery of the energy of life. Wilhelm Reich was arrested and died in prison for a heart attack a few days before being released. His laboratories were destroyed and all his books burned, probably the worst case of censorship in the history of the United States. Teilhard de Chardin was exiled to China, he also died of a heart attack. Immediately after the Vatican issued a decree that forbade all his works and imposed the withdrawal from libraries and bookshops because: "they offend the Catholic doctrine" and in order to "defend the spirits, especially of the young people, from the dangers of the works of Father Teilhard de Chardin and his disciples." Luigi Fantappiè also died of a heart attack, again in the same period, in July 1956. His unitary theory was withdrawn from all the libraries and became unavailable. All the documents and works about syntropy were removed from his private archive. I have experienced with Antonella Vannini a similar fate. Our Syntropy page in Wikipedia was removed and cannot be created again. Now it points to Negentropy which is a completely different concept. When Antonella developed the experimental procedures which provide support to the theory of Syntropy she became the target of violent attacks, at the personal level, and some asked for her expulsion from university. None of her tutors were present at the discussion of her PhD dissertation before the national commission. They were terrified of being associated with such a forbidden theory. Several times I have been approached by people who told me to stop working on syntropy. One of these presented a letter written by Feynman in response to one of Fantappiè, and ordered me to stop my work as I had become an unwanted person. The fierce attacks to whoever works on syntropy, the impossibility of holding academic positions or publishing and receiving funding, has led me to look for an explanation.
